Do Seek Your Meat From God

"Do Seek Your Meat From God" is a divertive short story due to Charles Roberts's use of suspenses.  In the short story, as the panthers were hungry and went out for food, the children, at the same time felt bored and got out.  This very first suspense has brought the readers into the story and has held readers' interest.  And then came the man going back for his son, as well as the panthers were approacing the kid, and again, at the same time, becomes the most breath-holding moment in the story.  No one knows what is going to happen and who is gonna get there first, except the author, and readers wnat to continue reading it.  This is a very successful use of suspense that has made the activating circumstance and the climax even more attractive.

A Plea for the Physical

    I am always a more physical or sporty guy.  I like hiking in the woods, and particularly love a sweaty workout.  However, I do take the elevator, and I like it a lot better than stairs...  I also like to check my e-mails though.  Anyway, I still prefer physical activities than the sedentary in most of the parts.  I cannot really give specific reasons to tell why.  I just very simply like the feeling when I run, jump, and compete in games, as a boy.  I started to play basketball when I was young, and it is now such an essential part of my life.  Not only basketball, but all kinds of physical activities including working out are now the ways I improve my physical abilities, and defeat my stress.
